This recipe is pareve.
Ingredients:
- 6 bananas (extremely ripe - brown spotted if not entirely brown)
- 1/4 - 1/3 cup of pure, unsweetened cocoa
- 2-3 tablespoons of smooth peanut butter
Instructions:
- Cut bananas into small pieces.
- Put in freezer until frozen completely. (I usually leave them overnight)
- Put frozen banana pieces into food processor and blend on highest setting stopping periodically to stir the mixture.
- Process bananas until completely smooth. Should look like ice cream!
- Add 1/4 cup of cocoa and 2 tablespoons of peanut butter. Blend until completely mixed through.
- If desired, add more cocoa and peanut butter to taste.
- Transfer mixture to a freezer safe container.
- Can serve right away or freeze for later.
Makes for 4-6 people for large servings or up to 10 people for smaller serving. Great side with baked goods!
